Dr Su Win Htike is a Specialist Endocrinologist who is passionate to providing excellent quality evidence-based patient care. Dr Htike is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). She underwent Endocrinology training at Mater Hospital, Brisbane, The Canberra Hospital and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital, where she gained a broad exposure in the management of osteoporosis, diabetes, pituitary disorders, thyroid diseases, reproductive endocrinology, and endocrine related complications of immunosuppressive agents.
She is also a weight management specialist certified via SCOPE (Strategic Centre for Obesity Profession Education) and accredited by World Obesity Federation. She participated in Diabetes in Pregnancy research project and received The John Tidmarsh Diabetes Education award in 2022. Her research and case reports have been presented in international and national conferences.
Su is a dedicated teacher, and she also holds a Conjoint Associate Lecturer position at University of New South Wales and Western Sydney University. She is a member of Endocrine Society Australia (ESA), Australian Diabetes Society (ADS), Australian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society (ADIPS) and Australia and New Zealand Bone Mineral Society (ANZBMS).
She ensures that she keeps up to date with research in Diabetes and Endocrinology. Su enjoys building long-term therapeutic relationships with patients to deliver effective and holistic care.
Outside of medicine she enjoys travelling, cooking, and drawing.
