Dr Kenrick Blaker is a consultant endocrinologist and a staff specialist at Canterbury Hospital.

He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from The University of Sydney in 2014 and undertook his endocrinology training at Concord, Nepean and St Vincent’s hospital. He has a particular interest in type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid disease, calcium and bone disorders, as well as obesity and metabolic health.

He has a passion for medical education, having been a clinical associate lecturer with the University of New South Wales, and is an invited lecturer for the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney. He enjoys contributing to Rural Health and visits Dubbo Medical and Allied Health on a regular basis.

He is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia and the Australia and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society. He regularly attends national and international conferences to continue to practice the latest evidence-based medicine.

Outside of medicine he enjoys cycling, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
