"I must say that from my perspective, it's wonderful to have people who are so knowledgable and supportive. I've discovered that I enjoy pushing myself, but with the crunchy knees and crappy foot, if it wasn't for Kate and Christine, I would have given up by now. I so seriously have a vested interest to become as healthy as I can and by sticking with the exercises it has other advantages that I'm starting to discover. There's nothing like a good challenge! So my thanks to both Kate and Christine for helping me to this point, and I'm determined to keep coming along and learning from them!"

In 6 months, Pnina has reduced her HbA1c from 7.7% to 6.3%, and her clothes have dropped from a size 18-20 to size 14-16 - that's three dress sizes! She continues to walk everyday, but now does resistance training EVERY SECOND DAY as well! She has built up to using 8kg dumbells for most of her exercises - all of which she does from the comfort of her own home. She has even progressed from doing pushups against the wall, to the floor! Pnina still comes to see Kate every 6 weeks at this stage, and will continue to do so until she has achieved all her goals!
